Job Context:
∎ ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of an Executive/Sr. Executive for our Finance & Accounts Department.
∎ Job Location : Birulia, Savar
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, reviewing financial documents for accuracy, keeping records, systemizing all transactions, and reviewing the financial data to confirm its completeness.
∎ Maintaining liaison with R&D, Procurement, and other departments on compliance issues.
∎ To ensure primary checking of bill/ vouchers before payments
∎ To perform shipment costing and systemize the things once all items and docs are received and ready. (e.g., Fixed Assets, PM, RM)
∎ Preparation of different financial reports as required by the Finance Manager
∎ To perform inventory count, take verification of inventories at sites.
∎ To reconcile and perform analysis on debtors aging report and share with credit control and sales team monthly.
∎ To manage Internal & external audit with information, documents and required calculations. Work on implementation of their recommendations.
∎ Dealing with Cash & Bank Payments and Prepare vouchers and ensure all source docs are in place.
∎ Maintaining accounts receivable & inbound all collections from Market through ERP
∎ Co-ordinate with customers to collect tax/VAT Challan if they deduct any tax/vat from ACL Bill/Invoice.
∎ Maintain Docs, register and systemize Fixed Assets into ERP
∎ Perform bank reconciliation and prepare docs if there is any requirement from the Bank.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA - CC.
∎ 2 to 5 years of experience in relevant field.
∎ Strong command over any accounting software and other company data (ERP / MIS) systems.
∎ Advanced level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines.
