Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain day-to-day accounts including cash, bank, and general ledger entries, preserve vouchers and supporting documents.

  • Prepare and maintain project-wise accounts and ledgers for construction and development projects, report financial variances while assisting management in analyzing project cost per sqft.

  • Verify contractor bills, supplier invoices, and work measurements in coordination with Architects, Engineers and procurement teams.

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within approved budgets.

  • Strong documentation handling skills, including preparation of journals and ledgers, and proper maintenance of vouchers and financial records.

  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

  • Coordinate with the architects, site engineers and management regarding project financial updates and cost tracking.

  • Assist in preparation of BOQ-based cost tracking, budget comparison, and financial analysis reports.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports for management review.

  • Maintain proper documentation of procurement payments, material purchases, and contractor payments.

  • Maintain records of land payments, approval fees, registration costs, and authority-related expenses while ensuring proper documentation of all project-related financial transactions.

  • Maintain buyer payment records and installment schedules, track receivables and overdue payments, prepare payment status reports, and ensure proper documentation of all client transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other applicable Laws and regulations as required.

  • Keep accounts audit-ready, assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor queries when required.

  • Monitor cash flow and assist management in financial planning.

  • Maintain accounting software records accurately and ensure proper filing of financial documents.

  • Perform any other accounts or finance-related duties assigned by management from time to time.
