Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in planning team activities and responsibilities based on annual objectives and business targets.
∎ Assist in achieving functional objectives under guidance.
∎ Collaborate with the team to liaise with banks and expedite processes in case of delays.
∎ Aid in reviewing periodic reports and metrics related to timeline adherence and documentation accuracy.
∎ Assist in the process of empaneling import and export vendors, custom house agents, and freight forwarders.
∎ Participate in evaluating vendor performance based on feedback, timelines, and scorecards.
∎ Assist in understanding and addressing customer issues and delays in shipment.
∎ Contribute to negotiations with vendors and government authorities to ensure smooth project plan execution.
∎ Participate in the review of existing processes and compliance requirements for import and export activities.
∎ Contribute to the identification of areas for cost reduction and assist in action plan formulation.
∎ Keep updated on market practices in import and export activities, compliance norms, and regulatory changes.
∎ Contribute to effective resource allocation and the development of team members' capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in shipping, logistics.
∎ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
∎ Basic understanding of import/export processes is a plus.
∎ Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
