Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering is preferred

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive procurement requirement from Merchandisers; Identify appropriate vendor from the existing database or explore new vendors in case of new material requirement
∎ Jointly with supervisor negotiate on cost, quality and timelines with vendor to finalize best deal
∎ Issue purchase order (PO) for procurement and forward to approval authority to process payments
∎ Track delivery of material to stores as per timelines; Take corrective measures in case of delays or issue
∎ Identify opportunities for cost reduction within ambit of operations; Present findings to supervisors
∎ Create a long list of vendors based on request for new material; Understand market reputation and gather feedback on vendor performance, quality and timelines; Share list with supervisor and jointly shortlist vendors
∎ Record any irregularities, delays or mismatch in areas of material delivery or payments from vendors

∎ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
