Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Master in any discipline preferably in Supply Chain Management.
∎ Post-Graduation Diploma in Supply Chain Management may be additional qualification.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct market survey to identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability. Establish professional relationships vendors and suppliers.
∎ Perform procurement activities such as sourcing of quotations, preparing comparative statement, price negotiation with authentic vendors and placing order as per authority's direction.
∎ Procure right products as per requirement and ensure timely delivery at right place as per the requisition.
∎ Follow up with vendors till delivery of products and take corrective actions if any discrepancies are found while receiving/checking the products.
∎ Collect invoices from suppliers/Vendors and check the invoices properly.
∎ Create new sources of suppliers.
∎ Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
∎ Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries.
∎ Extensive travel to vendor locations.
∎ Make frequent tours to company projects and ensure smooth supply chain operation.
∎ Keep up to date with market trends, new products, and pricing changes to ensure that the company is competitive in its procurement activities.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good communication and negotiation skills
∎ Understanding of the local market, suppliers, and vendors
∎ Should have knowledge on international purchase procedure.
∎ Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
