Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct regular cost reviews and analyze production costs for our clothing items, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses with a view to identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to understand the manufacturing process and its impact on costs.
∎ Work closely with procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and evaluate suppliers’ influence on product costs.
∎ Calculate and establish the cost of goods sold (COGS) for each product.
∎ Work with product development teams to estimate accurate costs for new designs or modifications to existing products.
∎ Assist in the development of budgets related to manufacturing and production costs.
∎ Collaborate with finance teams to provide cost-related input for financial forecasting.
∎ Maintain costing systems and databases on regular basis.
∎ Generate reports on production costs, variances, and cost trends on regular basis.
∎ Present cost-related findings to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to gather and validate cost information.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in the clothing or manufacturing industry.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
∎ Knowledge of cost accounting principles and methodologies.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
