Job Responsibilities:
∎ To collect approved Purchase Requisition, Proforma Invoice/Indent/Sales contract.
∎ To follow up on Purchase order creation in Software.
∎ To check and make Proforma Invoice with the right Import description, declaration, and HS code with the concerned related people.
∎ To arrange approval for LC/TT/Import approval permission copy from the concerned Bank.
∎ To Collect the LC & TT from Bank from the Finance & Trade department.
∎ To establish communication between foreign suppliers and banks (Bangladesh & Abroad) for LC/TT establish, transactions, payment & reporting.
∎ To prepare the LC form and respective documents needed for the LC/TT to be swift as per ucp600 guidelines.
∎ To follow up on proper marine insurance policy and cover note creation for import.
∎ To establish time-to-time communications with shipper/supplier/exporter for LC-related documentation and requested shipment follow-up.
∎ To check and correct the LC-related shipping documentation (Regulatory Requires as per LC for Import; Commercial invoice, packing list, Country of origin, HBL/Airway Bill of lading) and convey them to the supplier.
∎ To collect the shipping documents from LC-issued bank and send them to the respective customs clearance team of Supply Chain Management & keep continuous follow-up.
∎ To follow up with the C&F agents and ensure the temperature storage for the temperature control & cool chain products
∎ Maintaining Inter Dept. communication, Finance & Accounts, Audit, Sourcing, Planning, respective R&D, Quality assurance, Inventory, C&F & Logistics, etc.
