• Good understanding of warehouse receiving, GRN processing, and inbound logistics specifically for retail goods.

• Ability to verify product quality, expiry dates, and quantity accuracy for FMCG and perishable items.

• Skills in coordinating with suppliers, warehouse teams, and transport providers to ensure timely delivery to metro outlets.

• Proficiency in ERP/POS stock entry, barcode scanning, and maintaining accurate inbound records.

• Strong attention to detail to prevent receiving errors that may disrupt retail shelf availability.

• Ability to handle fast-paced inbound cycles and work with compact storage spaces.

• Good communication and teamwork to support store operations.

Job Context:

Fresh SuperMart, a retail chain under Meghna Group of Industries, is set to operate outlets at metro rail stations. The Executive/ Senior Executive – Inbound Supply Chain is responsible for managing the smooth receiving of products, performing quality inspections, processing Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and coordinating effectively with suppliers and warehouses to ensure steady and efficient stock flow to the stores.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming products to ensure accurate stock intake by verifying quantities, expiry dates, and product conditions against delivery documents.

• Process GRNs accurately to maintain updated stock levels by entering correct information into the ERP/POS systems.

• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to ensure on-time delivery by tracking shipment schedules and following up proactively.

• Inspect incoming goods to maintain quality standards by identifying damaged or non-compliant items and reporting discrepancies.

• Communicate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve supply issues by sharing timely updates on delays or shortages.

• Monitor storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization by organizing received goods systematically.

• Support rapid replenishment for metro outlets to prevent stock-outs by maintaining accurate records and communicating urgent needs.

• Maintain documentation for all inbound movements to ensure compliance by preparing receiving reports and updating logs.
