Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Production Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Attend the pre-production meetings, to understand requirements; Allocate jobs accordingly to the Operators
∎ • Execute Color, Size, and Style wise production output as per production plan and capacity in our manufacturing unit.
∎ • Coordinate with Planning, IE, PD and QA Departments regarding production related issues.
∎ • Execute the line setup on as per production line/machine wise output with the best combination of manpower and machine.
∎ • Follow up on activities based on the schedule and prioritize activities accordingly for the Operators
∎ • Oversee the functioning of the machine during process and off - process for any irregularities; Inform the Production Executive for issuance of job card; Follow up to ensure machines are rectified in time to ensure minimum down time
∎ • Maintain availability of raw material and equipment required for operations; Escalate to supervisors in case of issues in availability
∎ • Monitor back to back feeding to optimize the output
∎ • Attend daily top three defect meeting to improve the associates
∎ • Impart training to operators on buyers quality guidelines and sequence of operations
∎ • Perform quality check on the product basis the set parameters
∎ • Conduct second level sample checks to validate parameters / look and feel (recipes, pH, shrinking, color, temperature, stitch quality, knit count)
∎ • Share samples with the Production Executive for quality check and understand next steps for any rectifications needed; Implement the changes as suggested
∎ • Guide Operators / Assistant operators as required
∎ • Update all data related documents on batch completion
∎ • Share data related to operation area as per timelines and formats
∎ • Maintain hygiene standards in the operations area through the team
∎ • Oversee cleaning of the operations area
∎ • Manage the discipline within the team members in the operations floor
∎ • Identify efficient ways of executing individual operations
∎ • Record ideas shared by operators; Share ideas / thoughts with Production Executive for further validation
∎ • Implement process improvement ways and techniques identified by self and team and approved by the Executive
∎ • Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of yearly plans
∎ • Manage effective resource allocation, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate HR interventions
∎ • Daily team meeting to identify grey areas for improvement.
