Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor the proper and timely preparation, submission, and payment of VAT returns.
∎ Ensure compliance with VAT laws and regulations, including any changes or updates.
∎ Work together with internal teams to collect the information required for reporting and VAT computations.
∎ Submitting different tax returns, such as those for corporation income tax, withholding tax, and other relevant taxes.
∎ Keep abreast of modifications to tax rules and regulations and evaluate how they may affect your business.
∎ Create and put into action plans to reduce tax obligations and optimize tax advantages.
∎ Maintain tight collaboration with the finance team to guarantee precise documentation of transactions pertaining to taxes and value-added tax in the financial statements.
∎ Assist with tax and financial audits by preparing required paperwork and answering questions.
