Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any reputed public or privet university;
∎ Diploma in social compliance, HRM or knowledge on Industrial dispute /industrial relation candidate will get extra priority.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To counsel the workers about company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and discipline;
∎ Establish contracts and hold consultations with a view to maintaining harmonious relations between the management of the factory and the workers;
∎ Bring to the notice of the management any grievance of workers - individual as well as collective with a view to securing their expeditious redress;
∎ Promote healthy labor management practices;
∎ To create awareness program to absentee workers & late workers in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover;
∎ Counsel the inefficient workers and efficient workers are logging behind efficiency as referred by the line chief;
∎ To make aware to workers on disciplinary issues, safety health & hygiene issues, productivity consciousness & quality assurance improvement;
∎ To maintain record keeping registers, data records and registers for different areas of counseling as up to date and submit report to the Department Head;
∎ To provide assistance in due leave, social & cultural events, medical services, canteen facilities and any other legal benefits as applicable by law;
∎ Maintaining maternity leave register, grievance handling, orientation, awareness programs, handling grievances;
∎ Knowledge on Disciplinary action procedure as per labor law 2006 (Amendments 2013) & rules 2015;
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Minimum 4-6 years’ Experience of working with the export-oriented RMG-Textiles sector as Welfare Officer;
∎ Sound knowledge in Bangladesh labor low-2006 & rules 2015;
∎ Experience in conducting various Buyer & Compliance related audit;
∎ Good operating knowledge in computer applications;
∎ Must be fluent in spoken & written English;
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success;
∎ Self-starter & proactive;
∎ Skilled in MS Office;
∎ Communication skill:
∎ Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
