• 2-4 years of experience in Tax, VAT, or financial compliance.

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax & VAT laws, reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in VAT software and accounting tools (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).

• Excellent documentation, record-keeping, and reporting skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to coordinate with tax authorities and handle audits efficiently.

ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of Executive – Finance & Accounts.

Job Description

• To organize and update the company’s tax & VAT database regularly in accordance with

• Income Tax Act – 2023 and “VAT and Supplementary Duty Act – 2012 Bangladesh”

• To prepare & submit VAT and withholding tax Return with necessary documents and info maintaining the deadline, 15th of every following month.

• Visit Tax/ VAT office in order to explain if any inquiry requested from Vat/tax authority.

• Keeping records of all VAT books and incorporate these into the VAT Return

• Dealing with VAT software provider if there is any change required by the VAT authority.

• Systemize the Purchase/Production/Sales related transactions into VAT Software on a daily basis.

• Work closely with tax consultant and Filing Return as per Income Tax Act – 2023.

• Dealing with individual and company tax assessment in accordance with the underlying rules & regulations mentioned in the law.

• Monitor Mushak-6.5 at the point of goods transferred inter warehouse and perform surprise physical Check at loading point sometimes.

• Performing deposit and financial analysis for tax purposes – If needed

• Continuously update Mushak 4.3 with necessary calculations and submit it to VAT authority for newly launched items before 15 days of launching the product to the market.

• Handle and track petty cash transactions for corporate office expenses.

• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of petty cash usage.

• Prepare petty cash reports and assist in financial audits.

• Stay updated on new tax laws, amendments, and regulatory changes.

• Assist in financial planning and analysis for tax-related matters.

• Other tasks assigned by the management.
