Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry Applied Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
∎ • The candidates must have good command on computer literacy MS word, Excel.
∎ • Good communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant personality.

Job Context:
∎ • Develop all documents, operational checklist and reports for implementation as per ISO 14001(Environmental Management System), GOTS, OCS certifications
∎ • Develop & update the environmental compliance related documents for buyers audit
∎ • Provide required documents support to admin Manager for issuing/renewal the environmental clearance certificate
∎ • Monitoring ETP performance and regularly communicate with ETP responsible to meet the DoE standard and buyers requirements
∎ • Develop, update and maintain require documents for factory chemical management as per buyer standard and also communicate with responsible personnel for proper implementation
∎ • Develop, update and maintain require documents for factory waste management as per buyer standard and also communicate with responsible personnel for proper implementation
∎ • Keeping monthly energy, water & chemical consumption data and in line with monthly production as per buyer requirements
∎ • Prepare monthly GHG (Greenhouse gas) emission report based on consumption data
∎ • Periodically conduct internal audit and prepare report to be submitted to the management for corrective action
∎ • Develop and implement the annual Environmental training program
∎ • Prepare environmental documents for any other third party requirements like foreign finance bank loan as per their standard.
∎ • Monitor overall Chemical Management System.
∎ • Monitor overall Waste Management System.
∎ • Monitor Overall Energy Management System.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Provide Training on chemical handling, waste handling, MRSL, RSL and Hazard Pictogram.
∎ • Set long term strategy plan to reduce environmental impact.
∎ • Conduct Hazardous chemicals risk assessment.
∎ • Develop and update chemical management policy and procedure.
∎ • Environmental impact and aspect evaluation analysis.
∎ • Prepare & implement of chemical handling and storage policy and procedure.
∎ • Prepare & Implement of chemical purchase policy and procedure.
∎ • Before purchasing any chemicals chemical responsible will check MSDS, TDS, ZDHC Level, GOTS Certificate, Blue signs certificate and other relevant certificate.
∎ • Update monthly chemical inventory.
∎ • Provide training on all workers and staffs who are related to chemical use, transport and storage on how to chemical handling, storage, PPE, Hazard pictogram, Compatibility, spill response, disposal etc.
∎ • Provide training on ZDHC MRSL and RSL to production staffs & purchase responsible, ETP responsible.
∎ • Communicate with chemical suppliers for collect update MSDS and ZDHC Complaints Certificate.
∎ • Ensure all chemical drum and spun are labeled with local language.
∎ • Ensure that local language MSDS are posted where chemicals are used and storage.
∎ • Upload monthly chemical inventory in BHive programs.
∎ • Ensure appropriate PPE for all workers are related to chemical use, storage, transportation, disposal etc.
∎ • Set long term strategy plan to reduce hazardous chemicals use and targets for phase-out hazardous chemicals.
∎ • Conduct Hazardous chemicals risk assessment.
∎ • Ensure that all open chemicals drum are keep in secondary containment.
∎ • Check stock balance and chemical consumption.
∎ • Conduct chemical spill drill.
∎ • Monitor Empty chemical drum are kept in waste storage in compliance manner.
∎ • Regular check chemical store and production floor to ensure proper chemical management system is implemented.
∎ • Maintain chemical compatibility chart in storage chemicals.
∎ • Prepare Emergency chemical response plan.
∎ • Identify gap analysis if chemical management system isn’t properly implemented and corrective action plan to solve this issue.
