Badabon Sangho is a women rights and women-led movement building organization in Bangladesh. Started with feminist approach by engaging women who face the worst forms of violence and discrimination regarding land ownership, race, natural disaster and are even expelled from their own lands but is forced to remain silent to raise their voice or ask for their rights. It has group-based structure and governance. It has a partnership with National Indigenous Women Forum, Nepal to develop capacities of the indigenous communities by exchanging participants who will work with indigenous women and girls.
Similarly, Badabon Sangho has been implementing the exchange programme by placing Bangladeshi development professional in Nepal. These professionals will learn from the Nepal-based indigenous communities and came back to Bangladesh to implement gained knowhow. Organization has been implementing seven strategic programmes with support of international donors. It has a head office in Bagerhat and liaison office in Dhaka, looking for Exchange Participant (Advocacy and Documentation).
Job Responsibilities
Willing to stay in Nepal for six months simultaneously and visit remote villages where indigenous peoples living
Willing with stay and work with diverse people in National Indigenous Women Forum (NIWF).
Responsible to develop work plan and organize seminar and workshops with NIWF team members and volunteers
Responsible to work with NIWF communication team to learn about the advocacy and media campaign on indigenous peoples’ rights
Responsible to keep regular communication with focal person by preparing programme events’ summaries, requisition, reports, documentation.
Responsible to communicate with local immigration services according to the legal procedures
Willing to share skill of documentation to the NIWF team
Should have valid passport and eligibility to travel to Nepal for next six month (Dec- May 2026)
Responsible to maintain team building activities with NIWF team as necessary
Ensure enabling environment to external and internal audit team to complete their roles and responsibilities
Employment Status - Full time, Six months project period (Dec 2025 – May 2026),
Salary 90,000 on monthly only
