Job Context:
∎ HELVETAS is an international organization, operating in around 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe in the domains of water & infrastructure, environment & climate change, rural economy, skill development & education, and governance & peace. In Bangladesh, HELVETAS supports the development of rural livelihoods and local governance through direct support to agriculture and has demonstrated experience in improving access to drinking water and reducing water-induced risks, including flood, erosion, and salinity targeting the extremely poor and disadvantaged. HELVETAS, in partnership with ACTED, is launching an emergency operation to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sector of Site Management and Disaster Risk Reduction in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Line Management: The Enumerator will report to and operate under the guidance of the Senior AME Officer.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Submit the data to the server at the end of each day.
∎ Report to the supervisor before and after the day`s work for further direction.
∎ Discuss with the supervisor the data collection target and achievement for the day.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct data collection using the provided data collection tools:
∎ Using the tools provided, collect survey data.
∎ Conduct household surveys.
∎ Interview the identified beneficiaries of the project within the project area.
∎ Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
∎ Ensure collected data is accurately recorded.
∎ Capture data using digital data entry technology provided.
∎ Ensure respondents' anonymity and develop a relationship of trust and safe space during data collection exercise with respondents.
∎ Identify and report any challenges that could affect the data quality.
∎ Take responsibility for project equipment that you may be entrusted with.
∎ Any additional survey-related tasks delegated by the Senior AME officer.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Selection criteria: The main criteria used in the selection of the Enumerator are the following -
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla - Chittagong dialect is a must
∎ Previous working experience in Rohingya response as a data collector.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian principles and willingness to work in Rohingya response is required.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Attention to the details of the data collection processes.
∎ Ability to work independently and confidence to visit households inside the camps.
∎ Computer literacy to be able to work on smartphone-based data collection applications.
∎ Good facilitation skills.
∎ Good communication skills and experience in participatory methodology.
∎ Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
∎ Dedicated to completing each day's work and target assigned by the supervisors.
∎ Time management skills.
∎ Positive attitudes and willingness to learn.

Salary:
∎ Salaries will be 1500 BDT per day.
