Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
∎ Minimum of bachelor's degree, preferably in math or science subject
∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,North South University,University of Dhaka,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,American International University Bangladesh students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Classroom teaching, Educator, Math, Mathematics, Teacher Faculty, teaching and training, Teaching Experience
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The teacher's responsibilities include the following:
∎ Prepare for each lesson before a class starts
∎ Attend scheduled classes on-time
∎ Teach lessons as per the lesson plan provided for each session
∎ For Homework help sessions, the teacher will have help the student with homework assignments and help understand subject matters students have questions with
∎ Take attendance and record the lesson and subject matter covered in class
∎ Communicate concerns with parents and school administration if necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Teacher Training
∎ All teachers must undergo training for the Level they are to teach.
∎ The teachers will not be compensated, nor charged tuition for this training but will receive a Certificate of Completion.
∎ The teachers must be present during the entire duration of the training.
∎ The teachers are NOT guaranteed the job prior to training. They MUST pass the evaluation at the end of training in order to be eligible to teach that Level.
∎ All new teachers must start by training for and teaching Level One.
∎ To train for and teach Level Two, a teacher MUST have already trained and taught at least one year of Level One.
∎ Preferably has experience in teaching
∎ Preferably has worked with children
∎ Must have a working knowledge and experience of computers
∎ Preferably has experience of Zoom
∎ Must enjoy math
∎ Must love children
∎ Must enjoy teaching
∎ Must be able to observe and spot gaps in learning
∎ Then be able to either:
∎ a. Report these issues
∎ b. Or analyze how to remedy them
∎ c. Then implement the remedy
∎ Be able to understand that the current methodologies and curricula for Math worldwide are not perfect.
∎ Be able to understand and accept the concept of Mental Abacus / Singapore Math (training provided)
∎ Must have integrity (must sign an agreement not to share Math Genius Academy curriculum and materials outside of this school).
