Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and Maintain Network Infrastructure: Ensure continuous operation of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical networking components.
∎ Troubleshoot Network Issues: Identify and resolve network faults quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring service availability.
∎ Coordinate with Clients and Vendors: Work with local and international customers and service providers for issue resolution, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance.
∎ Assist in Network Design and Expansion: Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and implement scalable network architecture for new sites or services.
∎ Automate Repetitive Tasks: Use scripting or automation tools to simplify monitoring, reporting, and routine network tasks.
∎ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system& server network configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate regular reports on network performance, uptime, and incident resolution. Develop and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to network infrastructure.
∎ Manage and Monitor Server Systems: Oversee the health, performance, and availability of physical and virtual servers, ensuring seamless integration with network operations and services.
