Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineer / Senior Engineer – Planning (Primavera P6 Specialist) to join our Project Planning & Controls team. The selected candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and delay analysis across multiple infrastructure and construction projects.
This role requires strong expertise in Oracle Primavera P6, critical path analysis, project control processes, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will contribute to baseline planning, progress tracking, variance analysis, and management reporting in support of successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), activity logic, and resource-loaded programs.
Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
Identify critical path impacts, delays, and schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and look-ahead schedules, including 2-week and 4-week plans.
Develop S-curves, progress reports, dashboards, and variance analysis reports.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and procurement teams to collect progress data and validate updates.
Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and time-impact assessments in line with contract requirements.
Assist in resource forecasting, manpower planning, and cash flow projection linked to the project schedule.
Ensure compliance with project milestones, company standards, and contractual obligations.
Maintain proper planning records, schedule logs, and reporting documentation for internal and external review.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
5–10 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects.
Strong hands-on experience in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
Experience in roads, bridges, railways, airports, power, water, or large construction projects will be preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6
Strong knowledge of CPM (Critical Path Method) and project scheduling techniques
Experience in resource planning, cost loading, and cash flow forecasting
Knowledge of EOT, claims, and FIDIC contract conditions
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Familiarity with MS Project, Power BI, or other reporting tools will be an advantage
