Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Dredging Techniques: Understanding various dredging methods (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, environmental) and equipment (e.g., cutter suction dredgers, trailing suction hopper dredgers).
• Project Management: Proficiency in planning, executing, and managing dredging projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Engineering Principles: Familiarity with civil and marine engineering principles relevant to dredging operations, such as sediment transportation, hydrodynamics, and soil mechanics
• Project Management: Expertise in planning, executing, and overseeing dredging projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
• Environmental Science: Understanding the environmental impact of dredging and the ability to implement sustainable practices

• Have to engage in managing various Oracle entries, creating product requisitions, generating Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and creating move orders for the project. These projects are: The Left Bank Protection Project of the Padma River, Dhaka district; The River Bank Protection Project of Sheikh Hasina Cantonment at Lebukhali, Barishal; and The Kirtonkhola River Bank Protection Project at Barishal Sadar area in Barishal.
• Responsible for preparing contractor and project bills, as well as maintaining records specific to each project.
• Oversee various project aspects and liaise with governmental offices to ensure project interests are met.
• Responsible for gathering and managing relevant project information
• Responsible for handling the annual registration, ship surveys, and route permit renewals for all dredgers and vessels operated by the company
• Undertake document preparation and related tasks for the annual contractor enlistment within the dredging unit of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA).
• Involved in maintaining the operational database and logbooks for dredgers, vessels, and equipment.
• Responsible for producing estimates and comparative statements for repairs and maintenance purposes
• Assist in procurement activities, including the acquisition of lubricants, materials, and spares. These services are provided by me to support the achievement of the stated goals.
• Responsible for maintaining the daily attendance records of employees involved in various projects under the company.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and submit them to the Human Resources Department (HRD) for salary processing
• Prepare annual increment and earned leave reports for employees.
• Responsible for administrative and miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer and the relevant authorities.
