Education:
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE/EEE/Civil/Mechanical Engineering/IPE from any government-approved university; or
  • Master’s in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Development Studies, Social Work, or Sociology from any government-approved university.
  • Academic Requirements
  • At least one First Division/Class or equivalent CGPA in academic career.
  • Candidates with more than one Third Division/Class or equivalent grade will not be considered.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of full-time work experience in the development sector (only post-Bachelor’s/Master’s experience will be counted)
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in Skills Development/TVET Management.
  • Proven experience in employment support, training facilitation, career services, project management, entrepreneurship development, or pedagogy training.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with BTEB, NSDA, and private sector actors in the skills/apprenticeship sector.
  • Experience in implementing/managing national or large-scale apprenticeship or work-based learning programs will be considered an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a proven team player.
  • Passion for social development work.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.


Responsibilities & Context:

Workplace: Office-based in Manikganj, with mandatory frequent field visits in Manikganj and nearby.

Assignment Duration: Up to June 2026 (Project period)

Duty Station: Office-based, with extensive field visits across project sites

Career Preparation & Counseling

  • Provide individual and group counseling during and after training.
  • Help apprentices set career goals and plan accordingly.
  • Conduct sessions on CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace behavior.
  • Coordinate Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) certification where applicable.

Employment & Entrepreneurship Support

  • Match graduates with job or self-employment opportunities.
  • Guide apprentices in starting businesses and connect them with financial and support services.
  • Support apprentices and young micro-entrepreneurs (YMEs) in preparing business plans, improving financial literacy, and basic business management skills.

Employer & Industry Engagement

  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with local employers and industries.
  • Organize recruitment events, job fairs, and on-site interviews.

Placement Tracking & Monitoring

  • Maintain detailed records of job placements and employment outcomes.
  • Track career progress and satisfaction of placed apprentices.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with Master Crafts persons (MCPs), Partner Organizations (POs), local government bodies, and other stakeholders to build a supportive employment ecosystem.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare progress reports, maintain records, and document success stories.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support community outreach and mobilization, especially among marginalized groups (e.g., women, persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities).
  • Oversee enrollment, mentoring, and motivation of apprentices.
  • Facilitate entrepreneurship training, financing, and job market linkages.
  • Promote gender equity, inclusion, and safeguarding in all activities.
  • Conduct or support tracer studies, labor market assessments, and research.
  • Perform any other project-related duties as assigned by management.


Job Other Benifits:
    • Monthly consolidated salary: Tk. 47,700 (Forty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred).

    • Festival Bonus: 2 per year.

    • Bangla Noboborsho Allowance, Mobile Allowance, and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.

    • Salary and benefits are inclusive of all applicable government taxes, which will be deducted at source.
