Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are seeking to recruit a mid-level Humanitarian professional to the role of Emergency Coordinator to manage, coordinate and implement Christian Aid's response to climatic changes especially Floods, cyclone and other humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh, focusing on the implementation of an innovative and effective programme that result in significant impact on the lives of people affected by the crisis. The role will co-ordinate Christian Aid's appeal funded programme being implemented by partners in Bangladesh. To assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid's humanitarian response, providing effective and timely support to partner organisations, enabling them to implement a rapid, effective and principled response to emergencies.
∎ Reporting to the Head of Humanitarian Programme, you will play a key role in emergency projects and programmes delivered with impact in line with agreed aims, with funds used for designated purposes, ehe project grants managed and facilitated following an internal software PROMISE and ensure project resources and activities delivered within budget and time-frame, work closely with the regional team, programme funding division to develop programme concept and proposal for institutional fund raising, monitoring and reporting. Maintain strong linkages between partner work and advocacy, communications and fundraising unit within the UK.

∎ You are in possession of a master's qualification in relevant technical discipline, knowledge and experience of emergency relief, rehabilitation and recovery programme issues and knowledge of global development issues, including policy and advocacy topics and familiarity with emergency problems relevant to country or region.
Salary:
∎ BDT 1927385 gross per annum + medical reimbursement, provident fund, gratuity, life and medical insurance
