Qolytics is developing technology focused on human movement, physiological sensing, and real-time embedded systems. We are building an integrated embedded platform that combines sensing, embedded processing, communication, and data infrastructure into a production-oriented system.

We are looking for a practical, execution-focused Embedded Firmware Engineer who enjoys solving real-world engineering problems and bringing embedded systems from prototype through production. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working close to hardware, debugging complex embedded issues, and building reliable firmware systems in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems.

• Implement and maintain communication interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, and related embedded protocols.

• Support hardware bring-up, firmware integration, and system validation activities.

• Develop firmware for sensor acquisition, data transport, and real-time processing.

• Debug embedded hardware and firmware interactions using practical engineering methods.

• Implement and validate deterministic communication systems.

• Create test utilities, diagnostics, logging, and validation support tools where required.

• Work closely with hardware and software team members to ensure reliable system integration.

• Support prototype development and transition toward production-ready systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of embedded firmware or real-time embedded systems experience.

• Strong C/C++ development skills in embedded environments.

• Experience with STM32 or comparable MCU platforms.

• Experience working with SPI, UART, I2C, DMA, interrupts, and embedded peripherals.

• Experience debugging embedded hardware and firmware interactions.

• Ability to read datasheets and independently integrate embedded peripherals and sensors.

• Familiarity with RTOS-based systems.

• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience bringing up new hardware platforms or embedded peripherals.

• Experience working with communication buses and protocol validation.

• Experience working with sensor-based systems.

• Experience building embedded validation, testing, or diagnostic tools.

• Experience supporting products through prototype and production phases.
