Responsibilities & Context:
- Collaborate with project teams to manage the execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis, simulations, and testing to evaluate the performance, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to address challenges and ensure the seamless operation of electrical systems.
- Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant local, national, and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Design and oversee the installation of power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels, to supply power to various components of the structure.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, test results, and project progress, facilitating communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Prepare detailed BOQs for electrical components and equipment, including quantities, specifications, and estimated costs, to support project planning and procurement activities.
- Develop comprehensive materials specifications for electrical components and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and quality expectations.
- Proficiency is required in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB and similar tools.
- Strong grasp of electrical principles, circuit theory, power distribution, and electronics is a must.
