∎ Rohingya Refugee Program based in Cox`s Bazar with frequent field visits
∎ Purpose of the job (Brief):
∎ With the support of the Supervisor, the Education Facilitator will plan and conduct lessons for adolescent and youth. The lessons will cover literacy & numeracy, life skills and skills training (e.g. tailoring, sewing, soap making, vegetable growing) and will be conducted mainly through a home-based approach.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and implementation
∎
∎ Facilitate and lead literacy and numeracy as well as life skills and livelihood classes for adolescent and youth through an outreach approach - majority of groups will be for female participants
∎ Assist the Supervisor with the day-to-day operation.
∎ Prepare lesson plans and conduct regular assessments on students learning.
∎ Ensure active engagement of students.
∎ Ensure that activities are conducted in agreement with operational guidelines, sector standards and are culturally appropriate.
∎ Maintain an appreciative and welcoming atmosphere while conducting the lessons.
∎ Provide the attendees with information regarding the available services in the camps.
∎ Track and report on attendance of the different activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 year relevant working experience; preferable in teaching/training.
∎ Skills in at least one of the above mentioned areas required (tailoring, sewing, soap making, vegetable growing).
∎ Experience in conducting classes, ideally with women and adolescent girls, following designated curriculum desirable
∎ Experience and/or knowledge in keeping learners engaged using interactive communication and teaching approaches
∎ Accomplish individual and collective assignments given by her supervisor.
∎ Have a good understanding of the situation of the Rohingya population and issues the female population faces.
∎ Undertake other duties that may be determined by the supervisor.
∎ Good team work skills.
∎ Strong organizational skills.

∎ Proficiency in the local dialect and/or Rohingya required;
∎ Proficiency of English and Bangla language desirable
