• Strong knowledge of various wash processes: enzyme, stone, bleach, pigment dyeing, reactive dyeing, overdye, tie-dye, etc.

• Understanding of garment construction, shrinkage, and fabric behavior.

• Hands-on experience in handling advanced washing/dyeing machinery.

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Educational qualifications may be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience.

Job Context:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Wash Dyeing In-Charge to lead Bulk Production and Research & Development (R&D) operations in our wash facility. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of various wash and dyeing techniques, strong team management capabilities, and a proven ability to innovate and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Bulk Production:

• Manage day-to-day wash and dyeing operations to ensure production targets, quality, and delivery timelines are met.

• Maintain consistency in wash results and shade matching as per buyer standards.

• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and QA teams for order planning and execution.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, chemicals, and machinery.

• Troubleshoot wash-related production issues to minimize delays and rework.

• Monitor chemical inventory and cost optimization.

R&D:

• Develop new wash effects, dyeing techniques, and shade developments as per fashion trends and buyer requirements.

• Conduct R&D trials for new styles and ensure proper documentation of recipes and processes.

• Collaborate with the design and merchandising teams for sample development and approvals.

• Implement sustainable and cost-effective washing techniques aligned with environmental standards.

• Maintain lab-to-bulk reproducibility and support bulk implementation of approved samples.
