Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct thorough market research to identify key customer segments, competitive landscape, and emerging market trends in the FMCG sector.
∎ Develop a strategic sales plan to effectively achieve the targeted market share and coverage objectives.
∎ Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure a high-performing team.
∎ Set clear sales targets and KPIs for team members, with regular performance evaluations.
∎ Foster a culture of collaboration and motivation within the sales team.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail chains.
∎ Negotiate and finalize agreements to maximize market penetration and distribution effectiveness.
∎ Oversee daily sales operations and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
∎ Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional strategies that support product launch and market penetration.
∎ Analyze sales data and market feedback regularly to track progress and adjust tactics as necessary.

∎ Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to help with capacity planning and inventory management.
∎ Stay informed about competitors’ strategies, pricing models, and product offerings. Use insights to inform strategic adjustments.
