DVM or equivalent from a recognized institution
Strong knowledge of livestock diseases and vaccination schedules
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel between farm sites and adapt to field conditions
Proficient in diagnosing and treating common dairy cattle diseases
On-site role with irregular hours, including weekends and emergencies
Physical work involving animal handling and outdoor conditions
Strong knowledge of bovine medicine and dairy herd management
Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
Good communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work in a rural environment and handle emergencies
Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting
Responsibilities & Context:
- Diagnose and treat livestock and poultry across multiple farm sites
- Develop and implement preventive health programs tailored to agro operations
- Collaborate with farm managers to optimize animal welfare and biosecurity
- Conduct field visits to assess herd health and advise on nutrition and breeding
- Train farm staff on basic veterinary care and hygiene protocols
- Maintain detailed health records and ensure compliance with agro standards
- Provide farm health audits and expert advice
- Maintain records and ensure compliance
