∎ PROTTYASHI, a social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment with an aim to ensure everyone to live with dignity and prosperity. PROTTYASHI reaches the community with basic needs and supports to save lives and facilitate all the people of the community to live with equal value and priority. PROTTYASHI works for the disadvantaged portion of the population in community addressing their pressing needs following the strategies contextually viable and environmentally sustainable. PROTTYASHI has been actively supporting the refugee population in the humanitarian response in Cox’s Bazar as one of the first responders since August 2017 along with the affected host and local communities in Cox’s Bazar. PROTTYASHI has been vigilantly supporting these crises affected population to accomplish its promised commitment towards humanity and people living in distress.
∎ To ensure improved food security and livelihood for the affected host and local communities of Cox’s Bazar helping them meet nutritional requirement in an environmentally sustainable manner, PROTTYASHI is going to implement “Livelihood” Activity of WFP Cox’s Bazar Resilience Programme in Ramu Upazila/Sub-district. PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Disability Inclusion Officer for the Project and encourages the persons enthusiastic to contribute to the increased resilience of the humanitarian crisis affected host and local communities in Bangladesh. This position will be responsible for ensuring inclusive project management and implementation at the field level securing the needs of the persons with disability are met with utmost importance.
∎ Disability Inclusion Officer will report to the Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Integrate disability inclusion strategies across all project interventions.
∎ Ensure that program activities align with national and international disability inclusion standards, including the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
∎ Develop and disseminate guidelines, toolkits, and best practices for inclusive programming.
∎ Conduct assessments to identify barriers faced by persons with disabilities and propose appropriate interventions.
∎ Support program teams in designing inclusive livelihood strategies.
∎ Facilitate Orientation on Disability Inclusion and Screening (Washington Group) to promote the identification and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
∎ Organize Training on Gender, Protection, and Women Empowerment with a focus on disability inclusion.
∎ Monitor whether the needs of persons with disabilities are adequately addressed and ensure accessibility in every training session.
∎ Provide BCC (Behavior Change Communication) Trainings on Disaster Risk Reduction, Nutrition, Gender, Financial Literacy, etc., incorporating disability-inclusive perspectives.
∎ Provide training and technical assistance to staff, partners, and stakeholders on disability inclusion.
∎ Support Training on Climate-Adaptive Agriculture, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities.
∎ Report on disability inclusion progress, challenges, and best practices.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary will be 56,753 BDT with contributory provident fund 2830 BDT, monthly bonus 5417 BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.
