Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master's degree in Development Studies/Sociology/Social Welfare/Social Science/Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy or any other relevant discipline.
∎ Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Disability Management/Rehabilitation Science will get preference.

∎ Access Bangladesh Foundation is looking for a qualified, dynamic, motivated and committed employee under the project titled `Establishing Disaster Resilient Communities in Satkhira (EDRCS).
∎ Core Purpose : Under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director of Access Bangladesh Foundation, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing the EDRCS project. At the same time, he/she will maintain collaborative working relationships with lead partner, CBM Global Bangladesh country office as well as frequent communication with Access Bangladesh Foundation head office.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual (36 Months, subject to availability of funding)
∎ Job location: Shyamnagar upazila under Satkhira district
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity strengthening : Coordinate, communicate and maintain liaison with training providing agencies and other relevant financial institutions for loan facilities.
∎ Assist in developing database of persons with disabilities who are vulnerable due to disaster and other risks.
∎ Support to execute the project activities mentioned in the project proposal.
∎ Supervise, support and act as a mentor to strengthen capacity of the VSLA groups, OPDs and CSOs regarding Climate Resilient livelihood and private sector engagement.
∎ Assist to assess livelihood options for project beneficiaries including persons with disabilities to provide appropriate tailor maid support.
∎ Support to organize different trade based and supply chain training.
∎ Conduct meeting in the project location to ensure engagement of person with disabilities in different Committees.
∎ Support in documenting ground experience of disaster related measures to conduct evidence-based advocacy.
∎ Create awareness on DICCA and DIDRR among persons with disabilities, OPDs, networks and other community people.
∎ Visit the project working area as per monthly plan and on emergency need.
∎ Assist to arrange field visits for CBM Global Bangladesh, government stakeholders and development partners as required.
∎ Prepare contingency plan according to the situation and assumption to mitigate the risk.
∎ Project management : Coordinate in achieving project objectives, planning, implementation and progress monitoring, budget utilization and ensure approval and endorsement of all plans.
∎ Play a lead role in developing detailed project implementation plan (PIP) for each year and update quarterly.
∎ Manage key functions of the project to meet donor expectations.
∎ Ensure good relationship with implementation lead.
∎ Ensure timely report to lead partner (programmatic and financial) and donor responses in collaboration Access Bangladesh Management Team;
∎ Manage the relationship with local and national stakeholders and other actors in the respective sector.
∎ Assist project team to develop M&E plan, tools and other materials of the project.
∎ Ensure proper/quality documentation of project learnings and good practices through supporting project team.
∎ Coordinate with project accountant on budget preparation, advance, requisition, adjustment and financial documentation.
∎ Any other task assigned by Access Bangladesh Management.
∎ Safeguarding : Focuses on self-awareness and behavior regulation according to organizational policy.
∎ Maintain gender-sensitive approach in all stages of the project and safeguarding measures with code of conducts;
∎ Ensuring safeguarding and PSEA issues at all level and take appropriate measures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 3 years proven professional experience in INGO/NGO.
∎ Minimum of 3 years working experience in DIDRR/inclusion of at-risk groups- persons with disabilities, women, children and elderly people.
∎ Received any disability related training.
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to work with persons with disabilities.
∎ Basic knowledge on disability inclusion and development is preferable.
∎ Experience in local inclusive development/CBR/disability rights/inclusive training facilitation/support OPD is preferred.
∎ Working experience in a remote community setting.
∎ Proven analytical and planning skills.
∎ Has time management, leadership, multitasking, facilitation, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
∎ Has the capacity to maintain close relationships with partners, stakeholders and clients.
∎ Women and persons with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.
∎ Need to be highly motivated and committed to Access Bangladesh's vision, mission and improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized people.
∎ English & Bengali (professional proficiency)
∎ Excellent command on MS Office- MS Word, MS Power Point and very good command on MS Excel.
∎ Have outstanding skills and expertise at communicating by email and other digital platforms.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
