Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Development Studies, Social Works, Business Administration or related discipline. Any degree among above mentioned discipline from abroad university will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ we are looking for a dynamic leader for our `Director of Programs` position based at Country Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ Report to*: Country Director
∎ Contract Duration: 02 Years (Starting from January 01, 2024)
∎ Working Conditions: The position based at the Country Office in Dhaka and require 30% of field visit.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum experience of 10 years in a senior management position, leading and managing Country Programs and Teams
∎ Recognized experience in an INGO environment, preferably with child-rights organizations and with experience in both emergency and development contexts
∎ Excellent team building skills. Ability to manage, influence and motivate Teams
∎ Recognized leadership role in relevant technical areas at both field and country level
∎ Credibility to represent Educo at all levels
∎ Resource management, budget management/training/capacity building, coaching, and mentoring skills
∎ Experience to work with partners
∎ Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, electronic); ability to communicate complex, technical information in a simple and articulate manner
∎ Ability to adapt the international strategy in the local context
∎ Experience of working in an international context, at least in Asia with strong portfolio in the Bangladesh (desirable)
∎ Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work cooperatively with team members.
∎ Be patient and have team building attitude by being respectful to others.
∎ Have skill to prioritize tasks under pressure and to understand the situation.
∎ Capacity to deliver job timely and balance work-life.
∎ Positive attitude, sensible and clear understanding of gender perspective
∎ Leadership Skills, Proactive and Empathetic
∎ Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capacity
Salary:
∎ Tk. 254601 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly Gross Salary is BDT 254,601/- (Taka Two Lac Fifty-Four Thousand Six Hundred and One only). Plus: Provident Fund (10% Contributory), Gratuity, 02 Festival Bonuses, Insurance, Leave Encashment and other admissible benefits as per Educo People and Culture Policy.
