Job Responsibilities:
∎ Platform Strategy & Design Micro-Services Container Architecture for the MyBL Product Integration Platform
∎ Responsible & own Banglalink's Next Generation Digital Platform, MyBL SuperApp - enabling, orchestrating and exposing Banglalink Digital capabilities to third parties and BL services; drives Micro-Services principle & development wave single handedly as subject matter expert (SME).
∎ Define and lead the overall architecture strategy and roadmap for all aspects of the Product Integration Platform. The architecture will be developed to provide innovative solutions that meet the business requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with the Global Architecture standards and design principles.
∎ Drive the Container as Service Architecture for the Product Integration Platform area; Contribute to the digital roadmap by designing and realizing Micro services solutions.
∎ Construct a solution architecture around Micro-services and APIs and be able to decompose monolith applications into meaningful implementable Micro-services and APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment. Govern the evolution of platforms, ensuring the compliance with Security Requirements; actively influence the BL IT & Digital team to have access to and explore innovative technologies to be trialed for CaaS environment.
∎ Develop APIs/Services for Banglalink SuperApp and other digital services
∎ Lead and assist the development partners & in-house technical teams to develop and maintain lifecycle of the digital products e.g. MyBL App, MyBL Web, Corporate Website etc.
∎ Delivery of products and services - lead the design and delivery of respective portfolio as aligned with Commercial, Digital Developers and partners. Technical expert contribution to the technology selection process and make or buy decisions in synchronization with Technology standards. Represent Banglalink in standardization and other industry forums in regards to APIs.
∎ Platforms to build with containerized in cloud - running many Micro-services & employing latest Analytics and Tooling for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) chain.
∎ Defining the strategic direction of BL Digital Platform & Engineering team and contributing to the technical strategy for the entire platform eco-system.
∎ Guiding and coaching an exceptional team of leads and engineers. Mentoring them in technical and non-technical aspects, and leading them to build stable, scalable, and reliable features and services. Establishing and growing the right Engineering Practices with your team (e.g. TDD, CI/CD, Agile Methodologies, etc.) in order to improve the engagement of your team, the speed of delivery and the quality of the features and services you own
Additional Requirements:
∎ Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
∎ Job Experience Required
∎ 8 to 10 year's experience in large software architecture environment.
∎ Required Capabilities
∎ Design and implementation of Micro-services (Micro Service technologies like Spring Boot, Quarkus, GraphQL & service mesh architectures
∎ Proven experience in BackEnd development of Web and Mobile applications with modern technologies (Node-Js, PHP Laravel, Python, Go,Nest, NiFi, gRPC, GMS)
∎ Cloud technologies (AWS and Google Cloud and others) + services
∎ Understanding of Security concepts in relation to Microservices
∎ Understanding of API (REST/ SOAP / TMF) & building proof of concept
∎ Understanding of Virtualization technologies & container solutions such as Kubernetes and Docker
∎ Understanding of Analytics and monitoring platforms and technologies such as Splunk and Tableau
∎ Worked in Agile teams and organizations (Scrum and/or Kanban)
∎ Experience in CI/CD methodology
