Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates should have minimum 10 years of experience therein 5 years in managerial role at any Group of Companies/ FMCG/ MNC.
∎ Candidate Should have working experience in IAS (International Accounting Standards)/ IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), Company Act, Income Tax, VAT & Commercial activities.
∎ Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Strategic Leadership skills, Proactive attitude and problem solving skill.
∎ Physically fit

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure proper implementation of financial policies and procedures at strategic level through supervising and guiding the team for managing the overall activities of accounting and financial functions by maintaining co-ordination with different functional line such as Supply chain Dept, Sales dept, Marketing Dept and Factory.
∎ Develop a sound and effective Management Information System which includes identifications of market gap, root cause identification and analysis for credit monitoring and controlling.
∎ Ensure the conformity of statutory financial statements with local and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standard (IAS) Evaluate and advise on the impact of short range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions and provide recommendations to strategically enhance accounting performance and business opportunities
∎ Plan and ensure proper administration of company accounts, cash and bank transactions, receipt and payment statement, cash and fund flow statement, stock record, trial balance, profit & loss accounts, TAX and VAT management, inventory and assets management etc.
∎ Assure accuracy in trading related activities through proper verification & monitoring such as collections & dishonor issues of cheque.
∎ Make sure that fund transfer related activities are done properly & maintain regular mailing correspondence to dealing bank for fund transfer.
∎ Ensure regularity in bank reconciliation to provide party payments on time and ensure sales order reports and customer aging reports are appropriately prepared.
∎ Ensure the profitability of various product by analyzing SKU and size wise raw material cost variance and monitor daily production, input-output ratio, standard process loss versus actual process loss, and report on variable manufacturing overheads.
∎ Ensure the uninterrupted flow of various materials to the concerned departments engaged in the production process by closely monitoring (Purchase Requisition), SR (Store Requisition) and ensure entry in computerized inventory management system by ERP software.
∎ Ensure accuracy and conformity with established accounting classifications in monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports through reviewing and analyzing various operating and financial statements.
∎ Take care of team members through motivation, inspiration and guidance that encourages team bonding within the department.
∎ Maximize the potentiality of team members by developing & growing them through training, mentoring & supervising that contribute to the growth of the organization.
∎ Maintain good relationship with Management by ensuring proper support which includes identify opportunities for efficiencies, profitability improvement, loss control and reduction, revenue enhancement and operational improvements.
∎ Develop collaborative relationship with all the Business Leaders of MGI through maintaining proper bridge of cooperation, facilitation & group cohesiveness.
