Job Context:
The Deputy General Manager is responsible for managing all commercial, HR and Compliance functions in accordance with Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) rules, Bangladesh Labor Law (where applicable), Bangladesh EPZ Labour Rules and buyer compliance standards. The role ensures smooth factory operations, legal compliance, and a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing Import-Export Audit Statement & gather all Export, Import, Bank & BEPZA documents for yearly customs Audit.
Issuing essential Customs bond permission, apply with proper documents, and do the job to execute the permission.
Performing renewal of all licenses & certificates on time & keep in custody.
Maintaining regularly bond register in-bond & ex-bond & take customs bond concern signature after chemical import for chemical use adjustments Contacting the bank for the necessary lien bank certificate, and BB PRC & carry out them accordingly.
The applicants should have experience in 100% export-oriented EPZ Factory.
Ensure timely hiring of the right talent aligned with company culture, role expectations, and business needs to minimize position vacancy time.
Translate individual performance outcomes into measurable organizational results.
Identify high performers for recognition and low performers for development or corrective action to enhance overall workforce effectiveness.
Ensure business continuity by developing internal successors for key leadership positions.
Prepare and present HR reports, analytics, and dashboards for management review.
Oversee payroll, attendance, leave, and employee database management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with BEPZA labor laws, employment regulations, and all legal requirements related to HR functions.
Any other duties as assigned by the Top management from time to time.
