Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Achieve agreed-upon sales, collection, and profitability targets from new product business.
∎ Determine and optimize market, product, and business mix to stimulate demand.
∎ Identify and capitalize on potential business opportunities.
∎ Provide valuable insights on market conditions, competition activities, and product quality.
∎ Select and enhance the effectiveness of channel management strategies.
∎ Ensure accurate demand estimation and sales forecasting.
∎ Train the team in exploring new business areas and creating new avenues within existing business operations.
∎ Review and strengthen the distribution network.
∎ Conduct thorough competitor analysis and develop appropriate counter-strategies.
∎ Ensure the effective implementation of the Performance Appraisal System and promote a results/performance-oriented culture.
∎ Ensure premium/value positioning in the market.
∎ Promote team orientation and interdependence among various teams.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ Gulf Oil Bangladesh Ltd. is seeking a self-driven Leader to spearhead the implementation of new product development and training plans in alignment with business growth objectives. The primary focus of this role is to ensure a highly profitable new product development model which can add profit margins from new product lines. The ideal candidate will excel at networking with local distributors, supporting and training the sales team, and driving activations to enhance new business performance with a minimum experience of 25 years in new product development and training preferably from automobile industry.
∎ Reports To: Head of Sales & Marketing
∎ Major Areas of Responsibility:
