Responsibilities & Context:

-        Create textile print designs for Rotary and Digital Printing.

-        Develop new patterns, repeats, motifs, and colorways as per buyer or market trend.

-        Prepare designs according to buyer brief, fabric type, and end use.

-        Use design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, or similar.

-        Prepare print-ready files, color separation, repeats, and sizing.

-        Ensure designs are compatible with rotary screens and digital printers.

-        Develop and finalize color palettes.

-        Work closely with color lab / printing operators for shade matching.

-        Approve strike-offs and sample prints before bulk production.

-        Prepare sample designs, swatches, and strike-offs.

-        Modify designs as per buyer comments and revisions.

-        Support merchandising and marketing teams during buyer meetings.

-        Research fashion and textile trends, market demand, and buyer preferences.

-        Develop seasonal collections and concept boards.

-        Maintain a design library for future reference.
