Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Design
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and make available all technical data for Design and Merchandising prior to costing during the development phase.
∎ Keep updated with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Developing mocks of new idea, quality and wash.
∎ Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customer’s requirements and supervision of Design Head.
∎ Have to use CAD programs and graphic software to create prototypes, translate sketches into detailed techpacks for every style; utilizing designer’s initial flat sketch, BOM and specific construction to create garments.
∎ Working on complete presentation module like CAD Drawing Illustrations, graphic designs for product presentations and sketches.
∎ Follow up with the design sampling status to meet design submission deadlines and ensure accurate samples.
∎ Check design samples to ensure design and quality standards of final products.
∎ To be in aid in preparing seasonal collections for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter along with customized collections of CADs, fabrics and garments for various market segments under the supervision of Design Head.
∎ Check production feasibility with technical team and define parameters.
∎ Conduct Risk Analysis during product development.
∎ Visit factories during customer’s visit in order to set up product display.
