Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./M.Sc. in CSE or Information Technology from a reputed university, preferably with an MBA.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take the leadership and responsibility of IT team engaged in managing hardware, software, networking and website related activities of the existing IT system.
∎ Upgrade the IT service lab of the university to provide quick and sustainable IT related services.
∎ Keep labs and different sections of the university efficiently and reliably functional with respect to hardware, software and network.
∎ Implement/integrate automation software covering all relevant areas for the total University Management System (to establish a paperless system).
∎ Upgrade the existing IT infrastructure by establishing a robust, stable and secure LAN/WLAN/Intranet system covering the entire university and maintain it.
∎ Introduce and Implement new technologies and platforms of digital technologies to keep the university at the forefront of development in digital experience.
∎ Train university faculty/personnel to get accustomed to using the new technologies in the IT area and to using new automation systems.
∎ Take responsibility to update and maintain web site of the university. ? Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update university website as well as face book page, Create and manage link building strategies and content marketing strategies. ? Coordinate admission and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness. ? Plan and execute SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with concerned department.
∎ Plan and implement the IT budgets of individual departments as well as of the university.
∎ Maintain the IT asset (hardware and software) inventory of the university and keep track of each item in the inventory.
∎ Maintain liaison with suppliers/vendors of IT products & services.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ At least 5 years' experience in network infrastructure setup, network operations management, ERP/UMS handling and back-end development experience with MySQL, PHP, Java and WordPress preferably in a university.
∎ Wide experience in hardware, software and network trouble shooting and maintenance.
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience of holding a senior position in an IT Team of an organization.
∎ Adaptability to new technologies, tools, and techniques by learning those out of self-interest.
∎ Familiarity with the knowledge of developing Custom Plugins & Themes for CMS.
∎ Capability to develop Admin Portal User/Admin Concept with permission control.
∎ Capability to integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
∎ Hands on experience in dealing ERP and University Management System.
∎ Back-end development experience with MySQL, PHP, Java and WordPress.
