  • Five years’ progressively responsible experience in programming with children/ youth or vulnerable communities on issues related to child protection, youth empowerment, climate change, preferably in development contexts
  • Experience in Project cycle management
  • Experience in Budget management
  • Experience in Staff management
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bangla
  • Excellent Project Cycle Management (PCM) skills
  • Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


Responsibilities & Context:

Project Cycle Management:

  • Oversee the field-level implementation of activities, including monitoring workplans, expenditures, procurement, progress against indicators, and capacity-building needs.

  • Address and resolve roadblocks through regular field visits, participatory  discussions and problem solving, maintaining regular coordination and communication with the PM to ensure smooth project implementation.

  • Ensure quality implementation of project activities, including contribution to the development of technical tools and materials.

  • Work closely with the PM to ensure that accountability, gender mainstreaming, and beneficiary participation are prioritized in all project implementation steps.

  • Contribute to project development through narrative writing in concept notes and proposals, log frame indicator and target, budget, workplan, procurement and monitoring & evaluation plans development.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning:   

  • Contribute to both qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation efforts throughout the project cycle· 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the project’s MEAL plan, ensuring that lessons learned are documented and applied to improve project outcomes.

  • Promote a culture of learning and adaptation through ongoing monitoring, review of project activities, and analysis of project data to inform decision-making.

  • Support PM in preparation of the monthly, quarterly, interim or final internal or donor reports both narrative and quantitative.

  • Ensure the safe, confidential collection, storage, access and analysis of all the project data

External Engagement:

  • Represent the organization at field-level coordination meetings, liaising with external partners, including government authorities, local NGOs, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and collaboration.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the project at the field level, ensuring that all activities are effectively communicated to external partners and the wider community.

Partnership Management:

  • Coordinate closely with project partners to ensure that activities are being implemented as per agreed plans and standards.

  • Provide technical support and capacity-building for project partners, ensuring that all team members have the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge for successful project implementation.

  • Support the PM in overseeing partner performance, ensuring the quality of work and alignment with project goals.Identify any gaps or areas for improvement and take appropriate action.

  • Monitor project expenditures, track budget variances, and ensure adherence to procurement processes, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial management. 

Staff Management:

  • Manage and oversee the assigned staff, including their recruitment, performance management including mentoring and coaching, career planning, development and training, and transition, etc.

  • Oversee day to day tasks, support staff resolve road blocks, ensure they have required resources, manage staff leave, and wellness.

Ensure that the newly joined staff are oriented properly on Tdh mandate, values and probation is done on a routine basis.
