Job Summary

A leading conglomerate is looking for Deputy Manager/Manager, Training & Development to join their team. The position will lead the Group’s learning and development strategy to enhance workforce capability and performance across their FMCG and lifestyle divisions. The role focuses on identifying skill gaps, designing impactful learning programs, and fostering a culture of continuous development aligned with business and brand objectives.

Responsibilities:

Training Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and maintain an annual and monthly training calendar in coordination with business heads.
  • Align training initiatives with organizational goals, brand priorities, and workforce needs.
  • Manage training budgets, logistics, and scheduling to ensure seamless execution.

Program Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and update training content, modules, and materials tailored for FMCG and Watch Division teams.
  • Integrate modern instructional methods—such as blended learning, e-learning, and simulation-based sessions—to enhance learner engagement.
  • Ensure that all programs reflect Kallol’s brand values and customer service standards.

Delivery & Facilitation

  • Conduct and facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs for sales, retail, and support teams.
  • Partner with external trainers or institutes when specialized expertise is required.
  • Promote a learning culture through interactive, results-driven learning experiences.

Evaluation & Impact Measurement

  • Monitor and evaluate training delivery, participation, and post-training performance.
  • Track KPIs and ROI to assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review.

Talent Development & Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR and Department Heads to identify skill gaps and career development needs.
  • Support succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic partner in building a high-performance and learning-oriented culture.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging learning technologies, industry best practices, and L&D trends.
  • Introduce innovative approaches to improve training accessibility and learner experience.
