Education:
Bachelor’s in Mass Communication-Journalism.
A Master's degree is required.
Teaching experience in tertiary level is required.
Minimum CGPA 3.5 out of 4-point scale.
At least one Bachelor's or Master's degree from abroad is required.
Fluency in English is required.
PhD is preferable.

Required Experience and Publication:
(a) For having the degree of Ph. D/ Equivalent degree, the candidate must have two years’ teaching experience and one publication.
(b) For having the degree of M. Phil/ Equivalent degree, the candidate must have three years’ teaching experience and one publication.
(c) For the degree of Master's, the candidate must have three years’ teaching experience and two publications.
Responsibilities & Context:
To prepare the course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial, and practical classes, extension teaching, related research, and cooperative field experience.
To prepare questions, invigilate tests & exams, marks & grade scripts, and assignments.
To guide and supervise project work, internship, dissertation, or thesis as and when assigned.
To guide and supervise students to perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Attend meetings of the University as and when invited.
Work as "Faculty Representative" at different events and activities of the University when detailed.
Provide assistance in different activities of the University when called upon to do so.
Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself or assigned by the Department, Faculty, or the University or under the instruction of the Top Authority.
To monitor and report on the implementation of the Strategic policy plan for respective schools.
To ensure academic discipline and standards as well as report on other matters including the student affairs of UCSI University Bangladesh Branch Campus and perform responsibilities as per the private university Act of 2010.
To teach courses in the designated subject area and to assess students` progress by grading papers, tests, and other work.
To conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field.
To serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the University.
