Function as the Plant Finance Controller and is responsible for the application of CP’s financial policies, procedures, and systems.
Ensures decision-making processes are consistent with guiding principles.
Establishes clear direction and continuous improvement expectations for the Plant.
Leads the development of the Plant’s financial strategies.
Leads product costing and variance analysis processes, providing actionable insights to support operational efficiency and cost optimization.
Provides top-level direction for estimates (budget, LE’s, Put & Takes), payroll, and commitments.
Liaises with other functions – Finance, Purchasing, and Product Supply Chain – both internal and external (statutory auditors).
Responsible for Cost Targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Provides business support and financial expertise for Plant Management (Scenario analysis, returns on capital investments).
Responsible for financial systems continuous improvement results.
Responsible for overseeing all plant budgets to ensure that the plant meets all LE targets.
Responsible for ensuring that the plant meets funding the growth requirements.
Reviews Internal Controls of the factory and undertakes Audits to find out control gaps.
