Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Com or MBA in Accounting/Finance from any public/ reputed private Universities with good academic record & CA Partly qualified
∎ Candidates having Specialized Professional Certification on TAX & VAT will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To handle VAT related work of the company
∎ To monitor VAT matters of different concerns of the Company to ensure the measures that comply with all fiscal laws including, VAT & Company Law.
∎ To keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT regulations and their potential impact on the organization.
∎ To monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ To submit monthly VAT return to the concern VAT authority.
∎ To provide VDS certificates against deduction from parties.
∎ To ensure proper preparation and submission of VAT Return.
∎ To manage all VAT related queries and filings in the right manner.
∎ To ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act.
∎ To maintain financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
∎ To ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, VDS, VAT & AIT & other hearing-related documents.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have sound and updated knowledge on VAT and such related acts.
∎ Should have good communication skill.
∎ Should have experience in software based accounting system.
∎ Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hard working & willing to work under pressure
