• Minimum 03 Years of experience in the relevant field. Industrial exposure is highly desirable.

• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, standards and best practices and strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude

• Proficiency in MS Office and the use of the Internet

• Experience of using initiative and creativity to resolve problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement

• Methodical approach to work and high level of attention to detail

• Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements

• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, apply, and update health and safety (H&S) policies, procedures, and programs to meet legal and regulatory obligations

• Perform routine inspections, evaluations, and audits to verify the effectiveness of the health and safety management system

• Recognize potential hazards and carry out risk assessments related to workplace activities

• Develop and execute strategies to minimize risks and prevent accidents

• Plan and provide health and safety training for staff, faculty, students, contractors, and other relevant parties

• Foster a culture of safety through ongoing education and awareness initiatives

• Track and enforce adherence to applicable health and safety laws, standards, and best practices

• Compile and deliver monthly health and safety reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders when required

• Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, determine underlying causes, and apply corrective measures

• Keep detailed records of incidents, inspections, safety documentation, and training sessions

• Design and carry out environmental management plans to reduce the environmental effects of construction operations

• Develop and maintain emergency response strategies, including conducting regular emergency drills

• Collaborate with local emergency responders and stakeholders to improve emergency readiness and coordination

• Communicate and coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders on health and safety (H&S) issues
