Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Verify and process Proforma Invoices (PIs) for procurement, ensuring accuracy in terms and conditions before payment processing.
∎ Coordinate with banks for opening Letters of Credit (LC) and Telegraphic Transfers (TT), ensuring timely payments and proper documentation.
∎ Check import documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations, handling communication with suppliers regarding documentation.
∎ Maintain strong supplier communication, oversee logistics coordination, and ensure timely shipment and issue resolution.
∎ Prepare and manage export documentation, including EXP & REX forms, handle Export LC and Sales Contracts (SC), and follow up on export proceeds realization with banks.
∎ Handle EX Bond & IN Bond documentation, oversee bond renewal procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Prepare and submit applications for export incentives to banks and audit firms, maintain incentive statements, and follow up on approvals.
∎ Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, maintain PC & Export statements, import statements, and necessary filings.
∎ Collect and organize necessary documents such as Bills of Lading (BL), incentive certificates, and ensure proper record maintenance.
∎ Provide detailed reports on import/export status, LC payments, and other financial transactions, ensuring smooth inter-departmental coordination.
