Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up with Bank for LC Open and Documentation.
∎ Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Import & regulations etc.
∎ Follow up with Supplier & Shipment Schedule
∎ Preparing L/C Closing statement & report to management.
∎ Be familiar with the required items for purchase and their market availability
∎ Prepare CS and Purchase order as per approval
∎ Track and monitor all costs related information to local purchase and ensure payment is made such that materials are available as per time committed
∎ Negotiate delivery time with suppliers to ensure materials are dispatched as per agreed ETD
∎ Verify received items by comparing the purchase order Document, Track and Maintain a database of all orders updated and generate periodic reports
