Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Looking after overall depot functions e.g. Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Order Processing, Logistics, Transportation as well as Security of depot.
∎ Managing end-to-end distribution operations of the depot in a cost-effective manner.
∎ Preparing delivery schedules by maximizing coverage to minimize expenses.
∎ Ensuring an optimal level of stock for uninterrupted supply as per demand and maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
∎ Ensuring proper supply and on-time delivery to the market, as well as sales collection, deposit & outstanding management, and proper maintenance of depot petty cash.
∎ Monitoring the activities of the Delivery Assistant to ensure timely recovery of collections against bills and outstanding payments.
∎ Overseeing overall administrative activities, including vehicle and security management, to ensure efficient, uninterrupted operations and maintenance of the depot.
∎ Taking initiatives to ensure the proper implementation of SOPs, Policies and GDP guidelines.
∎ Arranging necessary licenses to operate the depot and ensure renewals as required.
∎ Planning and minimizing costs for CAPEX, OPEX, OT, allowances, bills, etc., while liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, transporters, banks, and agents etc.
∎ Ensuring to prepare inventory reports, conduct cycle counts, and ensure optimal space utilization of the warehouse, along with safety, security, and compliance.
∎ Leading, motivating, and developing the entire workforce of the depot function to achieve overall business goals.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management as and when required.
