• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.

• Strong experience in handling time-series data.
• Proficiency in R and Python (data analysis, visualization, and automation).
• Solid background in statistical analysis and environmental data management.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Database Management Specialist to support our data-driven activities under the WebAIS project. The position focuses on managing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of environmental time-series data. The successful candidate will contribute to building robust data systems and delivering statistical analyses that directly support research, policy, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, process, and maintain large volumes of environmental time-series data.
• Conduct statistical analyses (including quality control, trend analysis, and uncertainty assessment).
• Develop and apply scripts in R and Python for data handling, cleaning, visualization, and reporting.
• Support the integration of environmental datasets into digital platforms and databases.
• Collaborate with project partners and technical teams to ensure data consistency and usability.
• Prepare data summaries, tables, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
