∎ About us:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid`s response to the humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh with special focuses on M&E and Database Management. S/he will support Christian Aid`s funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Cox`s Bazar area. The role holder will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid`s different databases. The post holder is also expected to support different data analysis, visual data presentation and reporting. In addition, the post holder will extend support to humanitarian response, provide effective and timely support (including capacity building) to liberated communities and partner organizations, enabling them to implement the rapid, effective and principled MEAL response to emergencies, and ensuring that this is in line with Christian Aid`s country strategy and Humanitarian Standards. The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working groups meetings/activities and engage in the right networks, while increasing the profile of CA Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contributed in designing M&E related databases.
∎ Carried out day to day data cleaning, analysis, reporting.
∎ Presented key data visually.
∎ Collected required empirical data from the field.
∎ Teamed up with Communication for producing infographics.
∎ MEAL strategic principles effectively applied in cutting across all Christian Aid's MEAL functions, programs, particularly emergency response programs.
∎ Provided suggestions (based on data analysis) on improving programme effectiveness which are informed by Christian Aid's strategy and strategic focus areas and strong program of institutional support and strengthening for Partners in place.
∎ Strong linkages between partner work & MEAL within the Bangladesh, developed through positive relations.
∎ Partner and beneficiary engagement successfully facilitated. Carried out day to day data cleaning, analysis, reporting.
∎ Presented key data visually.
∎ Collected required empirical data from the field.
∎ Teamed up with Communication for producing infographics.
∎ Strong linkages with Database and IM, CTA, Civil Engineer, CDSO and MEAL.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The role is in the MEAL program family to facilitate program delivery while ensuring high level analysis which is backed by robust data. The role is key in implementing MEAL strategy across emergency response program, country program, region and division, whilst leading on partner portfolio projects. The role ensures Christian Aid is represented appropriately and positive relationships are developed thorough the MEAL work that this role is involved in.
∎ The post holder should have a first degree in social sciences or Degree in mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, engineering with 4-5-year experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations.
∎ Strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 4-5 years learning period.
∎ Desirable She/he is having at least a 5 years humanitarian response experience in MEAL programming. Familiar MEAL context in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla
∎ Experience in working with WFP funded project

Salary:
∎ BDT 873756.00 gross per annum
