∎ About us:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid`s response to the humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh with special focuses on Database Management and M&E. S/he will support Christian Aid`s funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Cox`s Bazar area. The role holder will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid`s different databases. The post holder is also expected to support different data analysis, visual data presentation and reporting. In addition, the post holder will extend support to humanitarian response, provide effective and timely support (including capacity building) to liberated communities and partner organizations, enabling them to implement the rapid, effective and principled MEAL response to emergencies, and ensuring that this is in line with Christian Aid`s country strategy and Humanitarian Standards. The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working groups meetings/activities and engage in the right networks, while increasing the profile of CA Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and updated project participants database.
∎ Field survey and ensure eligible beneficiary in WFP system.
∎ Beneficiary engagement successfully facilitated.
∎ Regular field monitoring and ensure beneficiary screening through MODA system.
∎ Ensure smoothly all types of software system operation through close collaboration with WFP/immediate supervisor.
∎ Confirm Participants Attendance Form (PAF) on each cycle.
∎ Available support on Cash Distribution along with MODA update.
∎ Adequate support on CFRM.
∎ Assist Database and IM support officer on reporting.
∎ Conduct Community Consultation events.
∎ Contributed in designing M&E related databases.
∎ Carried out day to day data cleaning, analysis, reporting.
∎ Presented key data visually.
∎ Collected required empirical data from the field.
∎ Teamed up with Communication for producing infographics.
∎ Strong linkages with Database and IM, CTA, Civil Engineer, CDSO and MEAL.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The role is to facilitate program delivery while ensuring high level analysis which is backed by robust data. The role is key in implementing Cash Based Transfer MIS and Data, MEAL strategy across emergency response projects, The role ensures Christian Aid is represented appropriately and positive relationships are developed thorough the MIS work that this role is involved in.
∎ The post holder should have a first degree in social sciences or Degree in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, engineering with 4-5-year experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations.
∎ Strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 4-5 years learning period.
∎ Database and Data analysis skill.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla.
∎ Working Experience with WFP funded project will preferable
Salary:
∎ BDT 710,760.00 gross per annum
