Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all the cutting and preparation phases necessary to produce a costume in the allotted time;
∎ Responsible for cutting production and ensure optimum utilization of man, machine and material in the cutting section;
∎ Assist Cutting Head to increase the productivity and reduce labor cost through
∎ updating the information i.e. problem faced on daily basis and giving target to the workers with the help of in-charge and supervisor;
∎ Discuss with merchandising and washing department regarding daily basis fabric
∎ requirement and make the fabric swatch, as and when required;
∎ Apply the cutting procedures and standards stated in the cutting agreement
∎ Plan to remain not more than % wastage at cutting stage;
∎ Ensure the necessary operation as required by the buyers;
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career development plans;
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC;
∎ Comply with clean desk policy in place to increase productivity and stay organized
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site
∎ Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 45 years
∎ Must have experience of working on Denim bottom, preferably with European buyers;
∎ Appropriate knowledge and skills on garments finishing jobs;
∎ Relevant knowledge and skills on garments manufacturing;
∎ Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills;
∎ Computer literacy (Oracle/ERP environment);
∎ Must be fluent at English (Reading, writing and speaking).
